In addition, they employ a pretty sweet referral program that includes gift card rewards for an array of shopping destinations. Royal Square Dental’s perfect score on Google, as well as other social media platform is why we’re rating it the top dental clinic in New Westminster. If you are looking for a dentist in the New West area, you’d be crazy not to give Royal Square Dental a call.

Sapperton Dental Clinic (4.7/5)

Sapperton Dental Clinic, located on Columbia St in New Westminster, has become famous for being extremely child-friendly, having a great staff, and boasting an informative website (complete with pretty infographics!). Currently sitting at an impressive 4.7 stars on Google, the only review tarnishing it from a perfect score seems to have been from someone who most probably got the wrong dentist office (the owner’s reply showed that the reviewer’s name was not in their patient records). It is no surprise that the constant influx of new patients is attributed to the fact that Sapperton is one of the highest rated dental offices in New West. Much praise is given to the reception staff, as well as Dr. Sarika Sachdeva, whose’s calm and reassuring demeanor has quelled the fears of even the most anxious of patients. Even better is that she and Dr. Sandeep are very good at staying on budget. Too many times have patients come into a clinic with one issue only to find out the end result cost more than intended. At Sapperton, creating the perfect smile definitely does not have to break the bank.

Royal City Family Dental (3.8/5)

Located on Sixth St in New West, Royal City Family Dental is known for family-friendly service and a large staff of knowledgeable dentists and dental assistants. Part of Family Dental Centres, a network of family dentistry offices in B.C., Royal City offers an impressive number of dental services and treatments that range from cosmetic dentistry to general orthodontics. Their website is well-maintained and features extensive links to all their procedures, staff, and they even keep an updated blog with useful information. So why is Royal City only sitting at a 3.8-star rating? Out of 5 reviews, each one specifically about the clinic is stellar, while negative reviews target unimportant details like the surrounding shopping destinations. At first glance, Royal City might seem like a mixed bag in terms of service. However, a deeper look shows that Royal City is a great choice for anyone in New West looking for treatment for the whole family.

New Westminster Sedation & General Dentistry (3/5)

New Westminster Sedation & General Dentistry is part of the Sedation Dental Group and is exactly what you need if you are by any chance looking for sedation or general dentistry in New West. Currently with a 3-star rating (based on only 4 reviews), this office looks like it has a good way of making you feel like family, while also apparently providing you with subpar customer service. Nonetheless, reviews are not always everything. From the look of their modern website (DentistsRUs), it is clear that this office has dedicated some time and effort into the patient experience. The next step for them would probably be for them to start running their own independent website in order to attract more people to the clinic – and by extension more positive reviews.

Artis Dental Centre (2.6/5)

On the surface, Artis Dental Centre on Sixth St in New Westminster looks like nothing special. Digging a little deeper, anyone can see that most negative reviews range anywhere from 2 – 6 years ago. Because of these, the hearty number of 5-star reviews have evened the score out to a low 2.6. Still, when you can see that reviews go from excellent to horrific so quickly, one can only wonder what kind of service they are going to receive when they walk through Artis’ doors. Their website is nothing to look at but gets the job done by informing prospective patients on what services they offer and a detailed list of staff biographies. More working up-to-date links to services would have been a nice touch. Looking at the “Our Team” page, I instantly noticed how large their staff is. Having an office with 3 certified dentists, 5 certified dental assistants, 4 dental hygienists, and 4 administrative staff members makes one wonder how many patients they can service at a time. If Artis is the well-oiled machine they claim to be online, then this can be a great thing for them.
