Usually when you present yourself at the dental office we ask numerous questions….. personal , work, health, medical, etc…. so here’s a chance to learn a bit about me.
I have been married twice, first relationship 20 years, second 12 and counting. I have 3 daughters, the youngest is 21. I was born in Saskatchewan and graduated from dental school in Edmonton and spent 15 years practicing in rural Camrose, Alberta. There were no specialists, so I learned and performed all facets of dentistry, from orthodontics to dentures, to hospital and public health work. This environment provided me the necessary and diverse background needed to develop a good, basic knowledge for a general dentistry practice. I have practiced at Surrey Place Dental Group for over 30 years and although I have worked part time for the last few, and recently officially retired, I still look forward to coming to work occasionally with the friendly and competent staff at Surrey Dental as well as with our many long term patients.
In my time off I enjoy the outdoors; yard work, cycling, kayaking, running and more recently tennis. I also volunteer part time at Peace Arch Hospital and the Sto Lo First Nations dental clinic in Chilliwack. I have also been involved in several overseas dental missions, most notably the Philippines and Vietnam.
Thank you for your interest in our dental practice.
